The Collar and The Yoke is an art and research project focused on land, labor, capitalism, and energy regimes in Western Montana.
An exhibition of this work—which included photography, ceramic sculpture, and found objects—was on view from February 20 through March 20, 2026 in the Helen E. Copeland Gallery at Montana State University.
This project has received NCECA’s 2026 Helene Zucker Seeman Fellowship, which will result in an artist book in fall, 2026.
